The Groom's Story
it all began when i met lia while orienting the new batch of freshmen in the college of public health. stiking indeed but she was really a snob. i told my bestfriend, Paolo, the best man, "pare, magiging girlfriend ko yan." i started being there for her always.waiting for her sundo to come despite the heat of the sun or the drizzle. going home with just 2 pesos in the pocket just to get her flowers... that time holland tulips and pinaka malapit.
this ain't easy but i guess pesistence made me go places. on the night of OCTOBER 28, 1998... my prayers were answered. "a high dive" mike and lia now boyfriend girlfriend. you can never imagine how i felt.
a complete turn around for me... the tough exterior of mine just melts when im with her.
it was no easy ride for us... so many obstacles... our real friends can relate. but we survived!!!
everything was already planned... we were just waiting for the right time. on christmas eve of 2006, on our christmas dinner... we announced to our parents our plans of getting married... i i know its already time no longer boyfriend and girlfriend but husband and wife to be.
